Community Helping Hand is one way we can connect with our local Community by offering Help, using our Hands and Hearts. It seems incredible that in our community there are some people who don’t have homes but sleep in our parks, and that there are people who have to come here for food. What we offer is not fancy gourmet food, but basic things: baked beans, rice, noodles, milk, tea bags, toothpaste, etc. As well as offering bags of food, may we care for these people with our prayers, and be mindful of these people on the sidelines of our community.

It is the time of year when we have the chance to share our good fortune with those who have less.. Operation Christmas Child is on and shoe boxes, brochures and other material are available in the foyer. If you do not wish to fill a shoe box, you may like to donate individual gifts. Donations of cloth bags for inclusion in the boxes are still welcome. Dedication Sunday is October 21 and boxes may be returned anytime until then. Please remember to discard all packaging and to secure your box with 2 rubber bands.
Here at Emmanuel we take both our pastoral care and your personal data seriously. Recently we have been upgrading our database for a better integration of names and activities everyone is involved in. We’d like to double-check that we haven't missed anyone, or their important contact details. We would therefore appreciate, if you could please complete the Directory & Emergency Contact Details for Congregation form for yourself and family members to ensure that our records are up to date.
Following this process we will also be compiling our church directory, so it is also important that if you do not wish to have your personal details printed in our church phone directory that you tick the appropriate box. If you have any questions relating to the form, data protection or the directory etc please feel free to contact myself or any of the Ministry Team.
